Okay! So sorry there has been yet another internet crash in the Priory Healthcare hospital; so I have been unable to update this account. Before you ask I only have a ‘burner’ phone (why do they call them that?!) so I can’t update my profile that way. Supposedly I could have borrowed another patient’s phone, but that would probably be to much of an ask.

I have managed to observe three days in a row of ‘unescorted community leave’. The staff said it has gone well. I am back on my ‘baseline’; i.e. not too high not too low. When I am too high I have a tendency to talk to strangers in an overfamiliar way.

I have been buying sugary energy drinks (God forbid!) and vaping heavily. In my defence (hand on my heart) by this Friday I wouldn’t have smoked tobacco for two weeks; I am very proud of this.

Not sure if I’ve already mentioned this but I’ve ordered a kind of monks’ habit from Temu. It’s black with a hood and white girdle. Its for someone with XL size and 180 cm tall. I’m really hoping it fits okay. I’ll get away wearing it on the ward but I’m not sure if they will let me wear it to Tesco express.
