Well… I’ve worn my robe three days on the trot on the ward and in the local Tesco quite a few times. I’ve kind of given up what people think now. This robe is my spiritual armour. I may even wear a robe for the rest of my life with a few necessary exceptions e.g. if I go hiking or camping or something. This is the longest time I have gone without ‘normal’ clothing. If I can wear it in a (to me) strange town like Burgess Hill I am sure I will be fine back in Weymouth. True I have yet to visit Burgess Hill town centre in it, but I can just about afford to do that tomorrow and if the weather is nice then maybe.
